The catalog lists two games: TMC Culture and TMC Bible. They share stake rules, but each has its own daily questions and leaderboard.

A topic appears and you feel confident, but you have not seen the question yet. How many points will you risk? That is the idea behind Tu mets combien ?, a free daily quiz combining knowledge and decisions. Play solo in your browser, choosing either General knowledge or Bible questions.

This format complements the studio’s daily solo games. Instead of spending a whole round looking for one reference, you answer six different questions. Before each question, translate your confidence into a point stake. These are virtual game points: there is no money to stake and no financial reward.

General knowledge or a daily Bible quiz?

Choose today’s Culture quiz for general knowledge or today’s Bible quiz for biblical knowledge. Both versions use the same rules, but they have different questions and separate leaderboards. Completing one does not replace the other version’s challenge.

The Bible version draws on biblical knowledge. Culture does not require it. If you would rather explore a Bible-inspired setting without answering knowledge questions, Babel and Damas are group games based on discussion and hidden roles. Our Bible game selection explains that distinction.

How do point stakes work?

You start with ten points. Before every question, you see a topic and select a stake between one point and your entire capital. Once confirmed, that stake is locked. Only then does the question appear with four possible answers. You cannot read the options before choosing your risk.

A correct answer adds your stake to your capital. A wrong answer subtracts it. Starting with ten and staking five gives you fifteen points if correct, or five if wrong. A large stake can increase your score quickly, but it can also end your challenge early: reaching zero ends the game.

A familiar topic is not a guarantee that you will know the answer. Try the interactive tutorial before your first challenge. It shows how stakes and answers change your capital, giving you a concrete example before the daily round.

The optional double-or-nothing finale

After six questions, provided you still have points, you may keep your score or try a seventh question. Its topic is shown before you decide. A correct answer doubles your capital; a wrong answer brings it to zero. There is no smaller stake to adjust for this final round.

Stopping is a valid choice, especially if you are happy with the points already earned. The quiz asks you to judge your confidence as well as recall facts. The final score reflects both your answers and the risks you chose along the way.

Daily challenges and separate leaderboards

The challenge changes at midnight, Paris time. One result per day and per version counts. The daily board compares scores for your chosen version, while the monthly board adds daily scores. Culture and Bible have separate boards. Tied scores share a rank: speed does not break a tie.

Your account lets you find your progress, public nickname and avatar. Check the instructions inside the game for current sign-in, saving and catch-up options, as those features may evolve. Share your score and the link to the correct version without revealing answers, so friends can try the same challenge independently.

What should you play after today’s quiz?

For deduction, Dans la Bible asks you to identify a person, place or event. Our daily Bible guessing guide explains its comparisons. To find a passage’s exact reference, try Quel verset ? and read how to find a Bible verse reference.

For a word puzzle, À la croisée offers a mini Bible crossword. The Bible crossword guide explains crossings and hints. These games reward different kinds of thinking, so their scores are not comparable to TMC scores.

TMC remains an individual game even when friends compare results afterward. For simultaneous group play, browse the full game catalog. For your next solo break, the Play page gives you direct links to every daily challenge.
