À la croisée is a free solo Bible crossword game. Find six or eight words from their clues: people, places and other Bible references. Each correct word locks in green and gives you letters to keep going.

The idea
Read a clue, find the word and use its letters to solve the crossings. The timer starts after you press play and the countdown ends.
Tap a cell to select an across or down word. At a crossing, tap again to switch direction. The direction button also lets you move between words.
Type with the on-screen or computer keyboard. A correct word turns green and locks. Its shared letters become reliable starting points for the other clues.
A hint reveals a useful letter in the selected word and adds five seconds to your final time. It becomes available again after five seconds. The puzzle ends automatically when every word is found.

Your daily break
A small crossword can bring back a forgotten story or a familiar name. Bible knowledge helps; crossings and hints also let you progress when a clue is difficult. After winning, explore the answers’ references to continue the discovery.

Start without an account. Google sign-in lets you access your progress and join the leaderboards. A missed puzzle from the current month can be opened from the menu.

Open the game on a phone, tablet or computer. The timer does not pause, even if you leave the page after starting.
Tap “Lancer la partie”. After the countdown, choose a clue you recognize and complete your first word.
Complete the six or eight words, then view your result. A new crossword arrives at midnight, Paris time.

It is a crossword: solve the clues and type letters into across and down entries. You are not searching for words already hidden in a grid of letters.
Yes. À la croisée opens for free in your browser with no app to install. You can start without an account; Google sign-in is optional for saving progress and joining leaderboards.
No. Once the crossword has started, time keeps running if you switch tabs, close the page or reload it. Every hint adds five seconds to the result. The timer stops when the crossword is complete.
The lowest final time leads the daily ranking. Monthly rankings compare completed crosswords first, then the lowest total time. Hints are included in the final time; a daily streak gives no bonus.
Yes, for published days from the current month. A completed crossword can count toward that month, once per day. Catch-up does not change today’s ranking or your streak. A crossword already started keeps its elapsed time.
