baræ is the studio of Simon Pertus, creator of the games on this website. The studio publishes these articles to explain its own games and suggest activities to accompany them.
Our selections and top lists cover the baræ catalog. They are not independent rankings of every game on the market. We explain the selection criteria: group size, knowledge, space, elimination, or type of interaction.
Rules and examples
Explanations are based on game rules and settings. Sample rounds are fictional situations designed to illustrate a mechanism. Suggested group activities or variants are labeled as such; they do not change the app’s rules.
Times suggested in game-night schedules are planning guides, not measured playtimes or promises about game length. Bible references help distinguish the source story from the game’s fiction.
Images, writing and corrections
The screens shown inside phones are game captures or previews. Group scenes illustrating the articles are digitally created; they do not represent testimonials or documented playtests.
AI tools assist with writing, translation, and illustration. The studio remains responsible for published content. We focus on explicit examples and actionable advice rather than accumulating keywords.
