TROVEU
Who gets the last word?
Before or after?
The next letter could be the last.
The word starts with a letter from the middle. Each player then places a tile to the left or right. No theme to help you: each round comes with a twist. Whoever places the final letter must find an answer before the timer runs out.

The idea
The phone goes around. Letters pile up. And nobody knows when the word will be complete.
On your turn, drag the tile into the space before or after the letters already placed. You can also tap a space. Placements stay in place even when they are wrong.
The number of letters still to come is hidden. Whoever places the last one has 5, 10 or 15 seconds, depending on the setting, to say an answer and tap the answer-given button.
The group approves the answer after the timer. You may rearrange the letters. A French word or common first name that matches the letters and the twist is accepted. A rejected or late answer eliminates the player; the last player standing wins.

Made to share
TROVEU turns a few letters into a moment of shared suspense. Hesitate over which side to choose, remember the twist and hope for one more turn to figure it out. During the final timer, everyone else stays quiet: the answer is yours.
Enter names and pass the phone around. Everyone takes turns placing letters, with no extra equipment needed.
Rounds 1–2 are easy, 3–4 are medium and 5–6 are hard. From round 7, the words get even trickier. Choose the final timer before playing.
Your turn
Get 2–12 players together and enter their names in the game.
5, 10 or 15 seconds for the final answer. The default is 15 seconds.
Read its effect, then pass the phone to the first player. They place their letter before or after.
